The Dundee Drugs Commission is an independent group of experts tasked by the Dundee Partnership with considering what more can be done to turn around the rate of drug deaths in Dundee. In this seminar, members of the Commission will provide their views on the causes and consequences of drug deaths in Dundee and what can be done to address the problem in Dundee and elsewhere in Scotland.
The seminar was chaired by Lewis Macdonald MSP and featured members of the Dundee Drugs Commission Dr Robert Peat (Chair, Former Director of Inspection, Care Inspectorate and former Depute Chief Executive and Director of Social Work and Health with Angus Council) and Suzie Mertes (Superintendent, Police Scotland).
